Saruflux A-1F:
Product: Saru A-1F is a covering and drossing flux for Aluminum and Aluminum alloys.
Function:
- Clean molten metal by preventing excessive oxide formation
- Removing non-metallic inclusions from the melt
- Covering, protecting and drossing of Al and its alloys melts during melting
- Preventing oxide build-up on furnace walls
- To improve aluminium recovery from dross
Application
Application rate of the flux depends on the quality of the melt. Dirty and smaller size scrap will generate more dross require more flux. Clean and large pieces of scrap generate less dross, requiring less flux. Recommended dose for clean charge is 0.50 – 1% of the metal weight.
Instructions for effective use:
Add flux in two stages – half during melting and, remaining after the metal is ready for pouring. Stirrer it for several minutes into the dross until a red glowing powdery dross is obtained. The cover should be kept intact if possible until the melt is ready for degassing and grain refining.

Saruflux A-4:
Product: Saru A-4 is a covering and drossing flux for turning, boring for Aluminum and Aluminum alloys.
Function:

- Preventing oxide build-up on furnace walls

Saruflux A-8:
Product: Saru A-8 is a wall cleaning flux of furnace for Aluminum and Aluminum alloys.
Function:
- A-8 is highly exothermic flux in nature
- To cleaning furnaces walls which are accumulated with Corundum (aluminum oxide)
Application
- Pre-heat the furnace to red hot condition i.e., 800 – 850℃
- Sprinkle the Saru A-8 over red-hot aluminium oxide film
- Wait for 5-10 minutes for completion of reaction
- Put-on the furnace and heat the furnace again to speed-up the reaction
- Scrap the layer with the help of any other scrapping tool
Instructions for effective use:
Used once per week, sprayed on the dross depending upon oxide build up. Empty furnace heated at 800-850℃ and flux sprayed evenly on furnace wall and, reheat it for 15 minutes and then clean the furnace wall with suitable tool.
